He is – among other positions – an Executive Board member of the Business Angels Network Elbeweser and of Der Wirtschaftsverein – a platform for businesses in Hamburg’s southern metropolitan region. Martin Mahn was CEO of Humboldt-Innovation GmbH, the private-sector knowledge and technology transfer arm of Humboldt-Universität, Berlin and lectured in Innovation Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. He held a number of senior management roles in the Display Optic Lighting Division of OSRAM AG. Anselm works as AI project manager at the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC). Pascal has a German diploma in business engineering (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur) and has been working at the intersection of business and technology ever since. After his studies, Pascal worked as a strategy consultant. In an academic leave of absence, Pascal did his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge on the topic of using Deep Learning and NLP to extract supply chain maps from text. After the Ph.D., Pascal re-joined the strategy consultancy – this time as part of the Advanced Analytics team of EY-Parthenon. In June 2022, Pascal joined ARIC as AI Manager. During his time in the UK, Pascal co-founded multiple startups, i.a. one commercializing the idea of the Ph.D. research.

With his own legal practice, Jan Schnedler has been a leading lawyer for technology transfer and startup law for years. He is co-founder and Chief Legal Officer at the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC). He has written the books “Startup Law” as well as the books from the series German Startup law “Managing Director”, “German IP Law for Startups”, “Employment Law for Startups” and is co-author of the book “How artificial intelligence shapes our lives”. He therefore combines extensive experience in AI and the legal matters of startups. He is also an arbitrator at the Czech Arbitration Court and the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre and is a certified data protection officer since 2011. He also teaches at various universities and has founded several startups.

Er ist Mitgründer und Chief Legal Officer des Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC). Er hat die Bücher “Startup Recht” sowie die Bücher “Managing Director”, “German IP Law for Startups”, “Employment Law for Startups” aus der englischen Reihe German Startup Law  geschrieben und ist Mitautor des Buches “Wie künstliche Intelligenz unser Leben prägt”. Er ist außerdem Schiedsrichter am tschechischen Schiedsgericht und am Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre und seit 2011 zertifizierter Datenschutzbeauftragter. Außerdem lehrt er an verschiedenen Universitäten und hat mehrere Startups gegründet.
